01 The idea

A recovery room with systems, not spa noise.

Newmarket has gyms, spas, and clinics. What it does not have yet is a single room you can book for yourself, shut the door, put the phone away, and move through a complete reset without an audience.

Private Wellness is being built around that idea: dry heat, therapeutic light, pulsed fields, compression, grounding, clean air, audio, and turnover systems in one guided 60-minute flow.

The physical studio is not open yet. The design direction, operating model, and launch systems are being assembled now so the first space can open cleanly when the lease is signed.

02 · The stack

Six modalities.
One room.

This is the planned launch stack. The point is not more gadgets. The point is one room where heat, light, pulse, pressure, sound, grounding, clean air, and automated turnover all support one private hour.

01 / i.
Dry sauna interior with warm amber glow

Dry Sauna

Traditional Finnish-style dry sauna. Heat, wood, red-amber light, and a dedicated sweat block instead of a generic hot room.

02 / ii.
Red LED light therapy panel glowing in dark room

Red Light Therapy

Dual-chip 660nm / 850nm commercial panel. A still, phone-free light block for skin, recovery, and calm.

03 / iii.
PEMF pulsed electromagnetic field therapy mat

PEMF Mat

Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy with copper coils. Used as a quiet decompression layer, not a standalone medical claim.

04 / iv.
Normatec pneumatic compression boots on legs

Compression Boots

Sequential pneumatic compression at multiple pressure zones. Heavy-leg relief, circulation support, and a clear post-training downshift.

05 / v.
Chromotherapy colored ambient light spectrum

Sound + Light

High-fidelity audio and tuned ambient light. Choose calm, focus, sleep-forward, or silent mode before the protocol begins.

06 / vi.
Bare feet grounding on natural earth surface

Grounding Floor

Conductive grounding mats built into the entry and decompression phase. Shoes off, phone away, nervous system down.

03 · Room systems

The details that make the room feel premium.

The recovery modalities are only half the experience. The other half is the room itself: clean air, controlled sound, lower signal noise, grounded surfaces, and a reliable turnover process between visits.

i.

High-fidelity audio

Room-tuned speakers with simple presets for calm, focus, sleep-forward, breathwork, or silence. No phone scrolling required.

ii.

Clean air filtration

Planned HEPA/carbon filtration and air exchange so the room feels fresh after heat, sweat, and turnover.

iii.

EMF-conscious envelope

Phone lockbox, grounding mats, and EMF-protective paint where practical. The goal is less signal noise, not fear-based marketing.

iv.

Vacant-room sanitation

Automated turnover with ventilation, surface protocol, and a possible ozone/UV-C assisted sanitation cycle only when the room is empty.

Ozone is not a filter and should not run while a guest is inside. If used, it belongs in a locked vacant-room turnover cycle with ventilation before the next session.

05 · The protocol

The planned sixty-minute flow.

The session design is meant to feel structured, not rushed. This is the operating idea for launch: simple cues, clear sequencing, and very little decision fatigue once you step inside.

05
minutes

Decompress

Phone away. Shoes off. Change, hydrate, settle. The first minutes should downshift you before any modality begins.

15
minutes

Stack

Zero-gravity chair. PEMF beneath you, red light on skin, compression boots active. Minimal instruction, maximal ease.

25
minutes

Sweat

Move into the sauna. This is the heat block where the room shifts from recovery tech into full-body reset.

10
minutes

Reset

Cool down, hydrate, dress slowly. No one is waiting at a desk. You get the full arc of the hour.

05
minutes

Exit

Lights come up, the room resets, and the next person never overlaps with your hour.

09 · Build status

What is real already.

This is a prelaunch site, so the trust layer should be honest. The idea is real. The email capture is live. The remaining pieces are operational, not conceptual.

Is Private Wellness open yet?+
Not yet. This site is for the prelaunch phase while the lease, payments, email, SMS, and smart-access systems are being finished.
Where will it open?+
The first room is planned for Newmarket. The exact address stays off the site until the lease is signed and the opening timeline is locked.
What do I get for joining the list?+
Launch updates, first-booking access, and a first-session promo code. It is the cleanest way to raise a hand before the studio opens.
Will it still be self-serve?+
Yes. The core concept is still one private room with keyless access, clean turnover between sessions, and minimal friction once you arrive.
Will booking be live this week?+
No. Booking opens after the lease is secured and the Stripe, Twilio, Resend, and Seam setup is complete. The site is intentionally lead-first for now.
Will the health / booking details change later?+
Yes. Once the final room, equipment, and booking stack are locked, the site will expand with live availability, waivers, pricing, and launch-day operating details.
